The price of this hotel in very expensive city of Monaco (although not exactly in monaco , it is a few step away) is commendable. I am sure that during the summer the price will change but in Monaco hotels are expensive even during winter, and for ordinal people like myself, I appreciate a lot that there is a hotel like this of which the price is reasonable and that has a good standard in quality. It is old fashion type of hotel so the room is not plasticky, it was quite spacious and clean, there is a proper desk, working wifi, and if I remeber correctly there is a fridge as well. The bathroom was quite big. The price include breakfast. Near the train station, the staffs are friendly.

From the moment we arrived at Alfred Hotels Monaco – ex Forum, we were blown away. The hotel has clearly been beautifully renovated – everything feels fresh, modern, and stylish, yet still warm and welcoming. The location couldn’t be better – just a short walk from the train station, the harbour, and all the best spots in Monaco. Our room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with every detail thought through for comfort. The bed was dreamy, the shower powerful, and the little touches made it feel like a 5-star experience. A special mention has to go to Alex on reception, who was truly exceptional. Friendly, professional, and always going the extra mile – he made us feel right at home from the first moment. Every hotel needs an Alex! Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. From the decor to the service to the unbeatable location, everything was perfect. We’ll 100% be coming back and recommending Alfred Hotels Monaco to everyone we know!

This hotel will be great in a few weeks time. Bedroom was brand new, clean and very comfortable. Everything you need. However the building work has yet to be finished, the reception is like a building site with plastic sheeting and tarpaulin up, the restaurant is not yet complete and neither are the corridors or lift. Concrete floors and dust everywhere from the work going on. Really they were not yet ready to receive guests and shouldn’t have sold the rooms. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, so I would return once it’s finished.

The location is very convenient—just a 5-minute walk from the train station and close to bus stops that take you all around Monaco. The hotel has been recently renovated, and the rooms are very comfortable, including the bathrooms and showers. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, from the manager to the cleaning team. They were always happy to assist me with directions, calling taxis, and giving great suggestions on what to visit. There’s also a café with delicious food and a rooftop with beautiful views of the port. I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely come back. Highly recommended!

The location was fantastic, not too far to the train station and the main sights of Monte Carlo. The network of lifts and escalators make the hills much easier. The breakfast was really good , lots of choice, something to suit all tastes. The hotel is newly refurbished, which was nice. The rooftop bar which served a small menu inc pizzas was really relaxing and had fabulous views towards the harbour.

The staff was excellent! Monaco has a lot of hills at the top of one. So I would strongly suggest a taxi to get you to the hotel. We ended up stuck in Monaco at night, near the port. It was beautiful, but there was no way for us to get back to the hotel because we caught an Uber and we couldn’t get a taxi. The staff went above and beyond to try and call two taxis for our group to get us back to the hotel between them and a local restaurant called Il Bionde we were able to get back safe and sound. They stored our luggage for nothing and again went above and beyond. Their breakfast buffet was very nice as well.

I can’t recommend this hotel enough. It is freshly renovated, rooms look brand new and are not cramped like many in the area. The staff is amazing, thank you to both guys we met at the reception and the one at the bar. Yes, they have a rooftop bar overlooking Monaco. Fairly priced drinks and snacks available there. Monaco central station is a few mins away, there you can take an elevator to the center. Parking is on the street, we were there on the weekend and we found a few empty spots. I paid like 8 euros for 24hrs, which I would say is a deal right next to Monaco.

The hotel is just renovated so it has a very fresh clean look. It was nice old fashion hotel even before, but after renovation, it shows many improvements such as : numbers and the positions of power point ( to which you can plug in your electric devices ). There are many and the positions are very well-thought, so it became a lot more practical to use and it is more comfortable to do things in a room. The reception staffs are very friendly and helpful. The price is also one the strong point of this hotel as monaco's acommodations are excessively expencive in general and this hotel maintains relatively reasonable price( I hope it stays like this! When I stayed the renovation had not finished entirely). The location is also good as it is a few minutes walk from the railway station

Roof top terrace is great for a breakfast coffee with the morning sunshine and a sun downer at the other end of the day. Most importantly my bed was very comfortable! Alex and all the staff were very attentive. Only a 10-15min walk to the Marina /Place du Casino.
